‘Cats Open 2025-26 Campaign in Chicago

WESTCHESTER, Ill. – Coming off their fifth conference crown in seven appearances, the Davidson men's golf team opened their 2025-26 season Monday at the Highlands Invitational.
The 13-team / 74-player event hosted by East Tennessee State is being played on the 7,349-yard, Par 72 Chicago Highlands Golf Course.
This afternoon's second round was suspended due to darkness. The Wildcats, who were led by sophomore Nate Faulkner on day one, will resume play tomorrow morning with two holes remaining before beginning their final round.
Wake Forest (-17) and the host Buccaneers (-13) hold the top spots on the individual leaderboard.

The Wildcats will continue their fall slate in two weeks at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational hosted by West Virgina Sept. 29-30.
