WASHINGTON, D.C. – In addition to Isaiah Swope and Gibson Jimerson combining for 51 points, Saint Louis shot 57 percent to get by Davidson, 83-75, on day two of the Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Tournament Thursday afternoon inside Capital One Arena.
The Wildcats, who led 60-58 with just over five minutes to play, conclude the 2024-25 campaign 17-16 overall. The Billikens will take on Loyola Chicago in tomorrow's second quarterfinal match up.
After Davidson connected on three-straight triples, two from Roberts Blums and one from Hunter Adams, to go back in front, the Billikens responded with a 16-4 stretch to push the margin back to double figures and put the game out of reach.

The Wildcats' quick burst came right after Saint Louis reeled off 13 unanswered to erase its largest deficit of the afternoon.

Mike Loughnane added 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting, while First Team All-Conference selection Reed Bailey finished with 10 for the Wildcats, who shot 44 percent and canned 11 3-pointers.
