Bentley University (2020-24): As a four-year member of the Bentley University men’s basketball team, Zach Laput averaged 18.4 points per game as a Falcon and shot 49.7 percent from the floor during his tenure. The Connecticut native had an illustrious career in Waltham, earning NABC Division II All-America honors in 2023 and 2024, and was named the NE10 Player of the Year after his second-consecutive 600-point season his senior year. With 1,655 career points, Laput has appeared in 90 college basketball games to date.

High School/Personal: 2020 graduate of Notre Dame High School where he was a two-year team captain... First Team All-State and New Haven Register All-Area MVP as a senior... Also named the 2019-20 Southern Connecticut Conference Player of the Year after averaging 22 points, 12 rebounds and four assists... Selected for the Coaches’ All-Star Game and the prestigious JCC All-Star team... Career averages included 13.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists... Son of Adam and Marcia Laput... Has one sister, Emily... Both parents were student-athletes at Trinity College with his father playing football and his mother field hockey.
