Four Wildcats score points Saturday at A-10 Indoor Championships

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The Wildcats concluded their men's indoor track and field season on Saturday, scoring points from two individual performances and two relay teams.
Jack Muldoon placed fifth in the conference in the 800 meters, finishing with a time of 1:53.07. This is the fourth straight year that he has placed in the top eight in the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships in an individual or relay event.
Freshman Peter Darst placed seventh in the High Jump, jumping 1.96 meters. This was the highest mark scored by a Wildcat all season and a career best for Darst.
The 4x800 relay team, made up of Muldoon, Ryan Harris, Jack Fischer, and Liam Maurillo, finished in fourth place in the conference after running a 7:36.36 race. This mark broke the previous record for the fastest 4x800 run at the Virginia Beach Sports center.
The 4x400 relay team also scored a point after finishing eighth with a final time of 3:23.69.
The Wildcats will begin the outdoor track and field season on March 20 when they compete at the 49er Classic in Charlotte.
