• Davidson is 3-6 in Atlantic 10 league play this season, with wins over Fordham, Duquesne and Richmond.

• Davidson faced the Spiders just three games ago, winning 72-66 at the Robins Center.
• Big man Reed Bailey leads the Atlantic 10 in scoring, and earned his first A-10 Player of the Week honor on Jan. 27, after setting another career high with 32 points at Richmond. The junior big man became the 56th 1,000-point scorer in program history with his first bucket of the game at Dayton on Tuesday.
• Bailey has reached double figures in scoring in 20 games this season, including an active 9-game stretch of double-digit performances.
• Bobby Durkin currently ranks first in the Atlantic 10 in 3-point percentage (41.4%) and 3-pointers per game (3.27). Those same metrics also rank 44th and 14th nationally.

• Dayton placed five in double figures, finished 21-of-24 at the line and closed with a 10-2 run over the last 48 seconds to get by Davidson 69-63 Tuesday night inside UD Arena.
• Despite Davidson falling to 13-9 overall and 3-6 in A-10 play, Reed Bailey became the 56th player in school history to join the 1,000-point club. The league's leading scorer finished with a game-high 19 points to go along with eight assists.
• Trailing 42-32, the 'Cats slowly chipped away and eventually went back in front, 61-59, on a driving layup by Connor Kochera with 51 ticks left.
• On the ensuing trip down the floor, Davidson was whistled for a technical foul, resulting in Javon Bennett making two free throws, followed by a 3-point play, putting Dayton (16-7, 6-4 A-10) ahead for good.

• Reed Bailey, the league's leading scorer, had another career game with 32 points and Bobby Durkin hit a pair of clutch 3-pointers down the stretch as Davidson rallied and then held off Richmond, 72-66, earlier this season.
• Bailey, who had hit the 30-point plateau for the second time in the same week, finished 11-of-17 from the floor, including a perfect 4-for-4 from downtown.
• With the game deadlocked 57-57, the 'Cats got a layup from Bailey and back-to-back treys from Durkin in three consecutive trips to take the lead for good.
