
Davidson Drops Match at George Mason

FAIRFAX, VA – Davidson fell to George Mason in straight sets on Saturday afternoon. Despite the loss, the team finished strong with a .273 hitting percentage in the third.
The third set was extremely close from start to finish. Neither team has a lead larger than two points. The Patriots prevailed with a 25-23 win in set three after they took the first two sets 25-17 and 25-21.
Elena Garcia-Guerrios led Davidson with 10 kills. Ellie Ocampo matched her season high with nine digs. Kinsey Smith recorded her sixth double-double with 17 assists and 10 digs.
