DAVIDSON, N.C. – Aleah Snead scored a career-high 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting to lead Saint Joseph's past Davidson, 60-46, in Atlantic 10 women's basketball action Wednesday evening inside John M. Belk Arena.

The 'Cats fall to 10-11 overall and 5-4 in league play, while the Hawks improve to 17-4 and 8-2.

After Davidson led 14-9 at the end of one and 21-13 midway through the second quarter, Saint Joseph's scored 17 unanswered sparking a 19-5 streak to close the half and take the lead for good.

The Hawks, who finished with a commanding 43-25 advantage on the glass, would carry the momentum into the second half stretching the margin to as many as 18 to put the game out of reach.

Despite the setback, Tomisin Adenupe was the lone Wildcat in double figures with 14 points.

Laura Ziegler would add a double-double for Saint Joseph's with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
