• Reed Bailey scored 23 points, Connor Kochera had 20 and Bobby Durkin added a double-double with 15 points and a career-high 13 rebounds as Davidson defeated Fordham 74-64 in Atlantic 10 men's basketball action last Saturday inside John M. Belk Arena.
• In addition to remaining perfect on their home floor, moving to 10-0, the 'Cats improved to 12-4 overall and 2-1 in league action.
• Sparked by eight straight points from Kochera, including a pair of treys, Davidson raced out to a 10-0 advantage and never looked back.
• Kochera (14) and Bailey (13) combined for 27 first-half points for the Wildcats, who led 36-20 at the break.

• Reed Bailey scored 22 points and matched his career-high with 12 rebounds as Davidson earned a 71-56 victory over La Salle last February from inside Belk Arena.
• The outing against La Salle marked Bailey's third 20-point effort in a four-game stretch, while Connor Kochera added 15 points and Bobby Durkin had 10.
• After starting just 1-of-8 from the floor, Davidson started to settle in and used a 14-2 run, including six straight from Bailey, to go up 16-4 and pull away for good.

THE REED BAILEY OF IT ALL
• Among those returning on McKillop's squad include Preseason All-Conference Third Team selection Reed Bailey.
• Bailey scored in double figures in 21 games during his sophomore season, including 10 of the last 12 games. The forward recorded five 20-point performances and averaged 16.5 points per game over that same 12-game stretch.
• The junior big man also finished the 2023-24 campaign as one of the most consistent free throw shooters in the league, making 135 shots at the stripe (6th) and shooting 80.4 percent (10th) at the line.
• So far this season, Bailey has averaged 18.6 points per game, set a new career high with 26 points against Temple and recorded seven 20-point games.
A SEASONED VETERAN
• As a four-year member of the Bentley University men's basketball team, fifth year transfer Zach Laput averaged 18.4 points per game as a Falcon and shot 49.7 percent from the floor during his tenure.
• The Connecticut native had an illustrious career in Waltham, earning NABC Division II All-America honors in 2023 and 2024, and he was named the NE10 Player of the Year after his second consecutive 600-point season his senior year. With 1,791 career points, Laput has appeared in 106 college basketball games to date.
