Davidson Athletics to Celebrate Female Athletes, Title IX Anniversary at 2022 Wildcat Weekend

DAVIDSON, N.C. – To wrap up its yearlong celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the Davidson Athletic Department is welcoming all former female scholar-athletes and their families back to campus for Wildcat Weekend festivities.
As Wildcat Weekend takes place Nov. 4-6 across campus, Davidson Athletics will host a pregame tailgate on Saturday, Nov. 5, prior to the football team's 1 p.m. game against Stetson. The 10 a.m. event will include a bounce house, games and live music.
The following day, Sunday, Nov. 6, the department will host a one-mile Run Like a Girl fun run, in collaboration with Girls on the Run, beginning at approximately 11 a.m. After the race, all participants are invited to attend Davidson volleyball's 1 p.m. match against George Mason.
All former female scholar-athletes will receive more details about the Wildcat Weekend Title IX festivities via email soon.
