WILDCAT SCRATCHES
• Davidson will conclude its brief homestand Tuesday when La Salle visits Belk Arena for a 7 p.m. contest.
• Coming off a thrilling 77-75 (ot) win over Rhode Island Saturday, the Wildcats enter 14-12 overall and 8-6 in Atlantic 10 play. (Recap below).
• Jon Axel Gudmundsson led the 'Cats with his sixth double-double (23 points, 12 rebounds) of the season, while backcourt mate Kellan Grady added 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting.
• In league games only, Gudmundsson ranks among A-10 leaders in scoring (16.1/8th), rebounding (8.9/5th), defensive rebounds (8.1/1st), assists (5.9/2nd), assist/turnover ratio (2.4/4th) and minutes played (38.9)
• At home, Davidson is shooting 41.4 percent from long range and averaging 10.8 3-pointers per game, while posting a +18.8 scoring margin.
• Davidson has won 34 of its last 38 at Belk Arena.
• Grady continues to lead Davidson in scoring at 16.6 points per outing.
• Gudmundsson (14.0), Carter Collins (10.6) and Luka Brajkovic (10.5) are also averaging double figures for the Wildcats.

FREE BASKETBALL
• For the third time this season, Davidson and its opponent needed extra time to decide a contest as the 'Cats defeated Rhode Island, 77-75 in overtime Saturday.
• The Wildcats are 2-1 this year in overtime games with their lone loss coming in a 107-104 quadruple overtime setback at George Washington on January 29 in our nation's capital.
• Davidson, which is 20-15 all-time under McKillop in overtime, has played 30 additional minutes in 2019-20.

GET BETTER EVERY DAY
• One of the Wildcats' philosophies is to get better every day, and Davidson has seen the fruits of that labor at the end of the year.
• Since 2003-04, the Wildcats own a 102-28 record in the month of February.
• Davidson is 47-26 in March during that time.

CLOSING IN ON 600
• Head coach Bob McKillop is just eight wins shy of 600 for his career.
• He would become the 39th (14th active) head coach with at least 600 wins at the Division I level.

LAST TIME OUT
• Jon Axel Gudmundsson had a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds, and Kellan Grady scored 21 while guarding Rhode Island's Fatts Russell as Davidson knocked off the Rams 77-75 in overtime Saturday night in Belk Arena.
• Rhode Island entered the game having won 11 of its previous 12 and in second place in the Atlantic 10, while Davidson was coming off a heartbreaking one-point loss at Saint Joseph's.
• Davidson closed the game on a 7-2 run after the Rams led 73-70 in overtime. Grady made a jumper with 1:58 left, and Gudmundsson tied it by hitting one of two free throws at the 57-second mark.
• Bates Jones rebounded the miss and was subsequently fouled. He drained both free throws, giving the Wildcats a 75-73 lead with 56 seconds to play. A Gudmundsson foul shot with 15 seconds left pushed the lead to 76-73, and Davidson opted to foul Jeff Dowtin, who hit both of his foul shots with eight ticks left.
• After Luka Brajkovic hit a foul shot to make it 77-75, Tyrese Martin's desperation trey from half court hit the rim as the buzzer expired.
• One of the top scorers in the league, Russell struggled to a 3-of-18 shooting night, but his long 3-pointer with six seconds left in regulation tied the game at 68 and forced overtime.
• Grady scored 14 of his points in the first half, as the Wildcats built a 38-30 lead.
• Nelson Boachie-Yiadom made his second straight start and finished with eight points and six rebounds, and Bates Jones pulled down three key offensive boards down the stretch.
