WILDCAT SCRATCHES
• Davidson enters the Maui Invitational 1-0 following an 82-73 win over High Point in its season opener.
• The Wildcats are making their second (1984-85 season) appearance in the annual event.
• This marks the second time (Zika Virus / Puerto Rico - 2016) in the last four years Davidson has had a tournament relocated due to an epidemic or pandemic.
• Davidson is no stranger to the city of Asheville as the 'Cats visited "The Land of the Sky" for the first time in 1915.
• Three of the Wildcats' 12 SoCon titles came inside the Harrah's Cherokee Center, formerly known as the Asheville Civic Center, where they owned an 18-9 record in SoCon Tournament play.

LAST TIME OUT
• Hyunjung Lee scored a career-high 23 points, Kellan Grady added 20 and Sam Mennenga impressed in his Davidson debut with 12 points and 9 rebounds as the Wildcats held off High Point, 82-73.
• Lee scored 17 in the second half and narrowly missed a double-double with a career-best nine assists.
• Carter Collins also added double figures for the 'Cats with 15 points to go along with 5 assists.
• Davidson led for nearly 34 minutes and put the Panthers away with a 10-0 run down the stretch.
• In addition to shooting better than 62 percent in the second half, the Wildcats finished with 21 assists on 31 baskets.

SEASON OPENERS
• Davidson improved to 75-33 (.694) in season openers with its win over High Point Nov. 25.
• Under head coach Bob McKillop, the Wildcats hold a mark of 17-15 in season openers.
• 10 of Davidson's season-opening losses during McKillop's tenure have come at the hand of teams from either the ACC, SEC, Atlantic 10 or Big 12, and seven have been against ranked opponents.

UP NEXT
• Following their second appearance in the Maui Invitational, the Wildcats will enjoy a nine-day break before hosting former Southern Conference foe Georgia Southern on Dec. 11.

VS. NATIONALLY RANKED
• The Wildcats are 17-113 all-time when playing a ranked opponent (AP Poll).
