WILDCAT SCRATCHES
• Coming off a 70-64 setback to Richmond, Davidson enters 7-9 overall and 1-3 in Atlantic 10 play.
• This is the Wildcats' 12th game away from home this season.
• The 'Cats are 60-34 in A-10 regular season contests, including 14-4 last year, and 69-39 including A-10 tournament play.
• Junior Kellan Grady continues to lead Davidson in scoring at 16.0 points per outing.
• Senior Jon Axel Gudmundsson (12.4), junior Carter Collins (11.9) and sophomore Luka Brajkovic (10.3) are also averaging double figures for the 'Cats.
• Gudmundsson, the 2019 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, is averaging 18.3 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.3 steals over the last three games.
 
LAST TIME OUT
• Despite Jon Axel Gudmundsson's second straight double-double (14 pts, 16 rebs) and a game-high 19 points from Kellan Grady, Davidson suffered a 70-64 setback to Richmond Tuesday at Belk Arena.
• The loss was just the fourth in the last 33 games at home for the Wildcats, who shot just 33.3 percent from the floor, including 8-of-33 (.242) from long range.
• Nick Sherod and Jacob Gilyard paced the Spiders with 18 and 16 points, respectively.
• Davidson was within three points early in the second half, after Grady knocked down two free throws and made it 39-36 with 15:54 left. But Richmond answered with seven straight points to regain control.
 
LAST TIME VS. FORDHAM
• In addition to becoming the 50th player in school history to hit the 1,000-point plateau, Kellan Grady scored a game-high 25 points as Davidson cruised past Fordham, 77-52, March 2, 2019 at Belk Arena.
• Davidson opened the second half on a 15-2 streak to push the margin to 49-26 and put the game out of reach. The Wildcats led by as many as 29 with just over seven minutes to play.
• Jon Axel Gudmundsson just missed his second triple-double in the last three games recording 17 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. The double-double was his eighth of the year.
• Luka Brajkovic also scored in double figures with 15 points on 7-of-8 from the floor for the Wildcats, who shot 50.8 percent and drilled 13 3-pointers.
• Davidson handed out 22 assists on 31 field goals, while holding Fordham to just 33.3 percent from the floor and 4-of-24 from long range.
• Highlighted by 11 early points from Brajkovic, the Wildcats raced out to a 20-4 lead before heading to the half up, 34-24.
 
UP NEXT
• Davidson returns home for two straight beginning with a 7 p.m. tip against Saint Louis Wednesday.
