DAVIDSON — Bob McKillop liked the connectivity he saw from his basketball team Tuesday night, and the final result pleased Davidson's coach as well, as the Wildcats rolled past Nevada 91-71 in Belk Arena.

It's the second straight win for Davidson, which opened the season with two losses, and McKillop said he has seen a shift from his team over the last week. He's seen his Wildcats get better and have more fun on the court, too.

"Thrilled with the victory," he said.

Junior guard Kellan Grady led the way against Steve Alford's Wolf Pack (2-3), scoring 15 of his game-high 24 points in the first half and dishing out a team-high six assists.

"We're very motivated right now, given the way we started the season," said Grady. "I think we've got some momentum going right now."

Sophomore forward Luka Brajkovic chipped in with a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards, and senior Jon Axel Gudmundsson (18) and red-shirt sophomore Luke Frampton (12) also scored in double figures.

The Wildcat defense fed the offense, too, as Davidson scored 34 of its points off 21 Wolf Pack turnovers. Meanwhile, Davidson had 19 assists to eight turnovers.

"The numbers are sensational from an offensive standpoint," said McKillop, "and I'm delighted we were able to generate points from our defense."

Davidson led 40-32 at the half, and a 12-1 run in the second half made it 64-46, following a Grady trey, at the 10:55 mark. The lead peaked at 89-66 after a Brajkovic layup with 2:16 left.

The Wildcats shot 55 percent and hit 46.2 percent from 3-point range, finishing 12-of-26 from behind the arc.

Nevada had four players score in double figures, led by the 14 of Lindsey Drew.
