• The Wildcats enter 0-2 following a 71-58 setback on Tuesday to cross-county rival Charlotte in the annual "Battle for the Hornets' Nest Trophy."
• Davidson is 26-4 in home openers under head coach Bob McKillop.
• The Wildcats have won 25 of their last 28 on McKillop Court.
• A year ago, Kellan Grady and Jon Axel Gudmundsson scored 25 points each as the Wildcats rallied past the
Seahawks, 91-85, in Wilmington.
• Davidson has won the last five meetings with UNCW and leads the all-time series, 6-5.

• Davidson is one of eight Division I schools with at least six international players on their 2019-20 roster.

• Jon Axel Gudmundsson is the only player in school history with 1,000 career points, 500 rebounds and 400 assists.
• Along with ranking sixth in school history with 438 career assists, Gudmundsson is on pace to be just the fourth collegiate player in the last 25 years to record 1,600 career points, 750 rebounds, 400 assists and 150 3-pointers (Michigan State's Denzel Valentine, Tulane's Jerald Honeycutt, Purdue's Vince Edwards).
