Wildcat Scratches
• Davidson enters 9-4 following an 82-60 loss at North Carolina in the Wildcats' final non-conference game.
• Saturday's contest marks the beginning of Davidson's fifth Atlantic 10 season.
• Davidson is 1-3 in A-10 openers, with the lone win coming in its inaugural season.
• The Wildcats are 45-27 in A-10 regular season play, including 13-5 last year, and 53-30 including A-10 tournament play.
• Davidson is 6-0 all-time against Duquesne, with all the matchups coming since the Wildcats joined the A-10 in 2014-15.
• Preseason all-conference selections Kellan Grady and Jon Axel Gudmundsson continue to lead Davidson in scoring, averaging 19.4 and 17.8 points, respectively.
• Freshman Luka Brajkovic is scoring 12.8 per game, while leading the way in rebounding (6.8).
• Redshirt freshman Luke Frampton is averaging 10.2 points.

Last Time Out
• Davidson led No. 14 North Carolina after 14 minutes of play in the Dean E. Smith Center last Saturday, but the Tar Heels took over from there in an 82-60 win to close non-conference play and the 2018 calendar year for the Wildcats.
• Jon Axel Gudmundsson led Davidson with his third double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds after having 24 points and 10 boards against Charlotte Nov. 27 and 20 points and 10 rebounds against Winthrop Dec. 4.
• Luke Frampton added 15 points for the Wildcats, who shot 30 percent (20-of-67) from the floor.
• A 9-0 Davidson run, including six straight points from Frampton, gave the Wildcats a 24-19 lead with 9:03 left in the first half. Davidson remained ahead for nearly the next four minutes, without scoring, and at that juncture, 13 of its 24 points had come from seven Tar Heel turnovers.
• But Carolina scored the game's next eight points and closed the half on a 20-4 run to lead it 39-28 at the break.
• Carrying over into the second 20 minutes, the Tar Heels' run was 34-8, which made it 53-32 with 14:50 to play. Carolina's lead peaked at 26 with 11:15 left. Five Tar Heels scored in double figures, led by Cam Johnson's 17.
