FAIRFAX, Va.  —
Davidson regrouped from dropping its first Atlantic 10 match the day before by cruising to a 6-1 A-10 road win at George Mason Sunday in its final regular season match in women's tennis at the Mason Tennis Courts.

The Wildcats head to the A-10 Tournament with an impressive 15-4 overall record and 5-1 mark in league matches. It is the third straight year they have collected 15 or more wins, which is the longest stretch since winning at least 17 matches from 2004-08.

For the 13th time this year, Davidson started off by winning the doubles point. The teams of Ally Sexton and Lindsay Song at No. 2, and Alexandra Abele and Ava Todd at No. 3 combined to give up just two games in a pair of 6-1 wins. The victory for Sexton and Song was their 10th of the season together.

Singles play saw the 'Cats take all but the No. 2 position from the Patriots (6-12, 2-5 A-10) to secure the team win. Anna Catharine Feaster used a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at No. 1 to claim her ninth victory of the season.

Todd kept her personal win streak alive by pushing it to a season-high eight in a row in dominating 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 5. The senior, 14-2 on the season, finished undefeated in her career in league matches at 23-0, including 6-0 this year, during the regular season.

Gabrielle Centenari tied Todd and Abele for team high honors in wins with 14 after she scored a 6-3, 6-0 decision at No. 3. Right behind her in wins is Song after she nailed down a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 4 to improve to 13-2 on the campaign.

Seeing her first singles action since March 18, Samantha Armas easily picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 6 to run her season record to 7-3 and give the 'Cats their final team point.

The Wildcats closed the regular season with a stout 80-32 overall singles record and a 26-10 mark in A-10 matches.

Next up, Davidson takes some time off before heading to the A-10 Tournament, which takes place April 25-29 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
