WASHINGTON, D.C. – Peyton Aldridge (24) and Kellan Grady (23) combined for 47 points and 10 of Davidson's 16 3-pointers, as the Wildcats advance to their first-ever Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship with an 82-70 victory over second-seeded St. Bonaventure Saturday at Capital One Arena.

Davidson (20-11), which shot 56 percent overall and snapped the Bonnies' 13-game win streak, will take on top-seeded and nationally-ranked Rhode Island in Sunday's final at 1:00 p.m. on CBS Sports.

In addition to the 15th 20-win season under head coach Bob McKillop, the Wildcats will be making their 20th (19 - Southern) conference championship game appearance.

Aldridge and Grady, the league's Co-Player and Rookie of the Year, respectively, each went 8-of-14 from the floor.

Senior Rusty Reigel put together perhaps his best game in a Wildcat uniform with 10 points and a career-high 8 assists. Like his backcourt mate, Jon Axel Gudmundsson also handed out 8 assists with no turnovers to go along with 9 points.

After the Bonnies' Jaylen Adams made a pair of free throws to cut the deficit to 60-59 with 6:59 left, Aldridge sparked an 18-6 Davidson spurt with a triple and two-handed dunk on consecutive possessions. The Wildcats' lead would grow too as many as 14 in the closing minute.

Adams, who shared the league's player-of-the-year honor with Aldridge, paced four St. Bonaventure (25-7) players in double figures with 20 points.

As a team, Davidson finished with 23 assists on 28 made field goals, while turning the ball over just five times.

A day after drilling nine first-half 3-pointers in their quarterfinal win over Saint Louis, the Wildcats knocked down 10-of-18 from long range in the opening period against the Bonnies en route to a 37-31 halftime advantage.

Trailing 11-9 at the 12:51 mark, Davidson grabbed the lead for good with a 13-4 run.
