DAVIDSON, N.C. – Jack Gibbs led six Davidson players in double figures with 27 points as the Wildcats concluded non-conference play with a 105-75 victory over Hartford Wednesday evening at Belk Arena.
Peyton Aldridge (18), Nathan Ekwu (13), Jon Axel Gudmundsson (13), Dusan Kovacevic (12) and Will Magarity (10) also added double digits for the Wildcats, who got 32 points from their bench.
Davidson (7-4) torched the nets for 56.7 percent, including 12-of-24 from long range, while holding the Hawks to just 39.1 percent.
In addition to a season-high nine blocks, the Wildcats finished 25-of-35 at the free-throw line and held a 40-35 edge on the glass.
Trailing 17-13, Davidson grabbed control of the contest with a 17-5 run, highlighted by five of its nine first-half 3-pointers.
Jalen Ross scored 22 points to lead the way for Hartford (5-9), which also drilled 12 shots from behind the arc.
After leading 49-37 at the break, the Wildcats opened the second half on an 18-5 spurt and eventually stretched the margin to as many as 34 with 2:04 to play.
Gudmundsson handed out 8 of Davidson's 21 assists.

Davidson will open Atlantic 10 play Saturday with a 2 p.m. contest against Richmond at Belk Arena.
