Wildcat Tidbits
• Winners of seven straight, Davidson returns to the hardwood Tuesday evening with a 6 p.m. contest at No. 3 Virginia.
• Off to their best start under head coach Bob McKillop, the Wildcats enter 9-1 following an 80-68 win at College of Charleston on Dec. 20.
• Davidson's current seven-game winning streak marks the 13th time under McKillop the Wildcats have strung together at least that many triumphs during a season.
• The Wildcats are 14-89 all-time when playing a ranked opponent (AP?Poll) and have lost 18 of their last 19.
• Tyler Kalinoski and Jack Gibbs continue to lead four Wildcats in double figures, averaging 16.1 and 15.6 points per game, respectively.
• Peyton Aldridge, a two-time A-10 Rookie of the Week selection, is also averaging double figures at 12.4 points per outing, while Jordan Barham is contributing 10.8 points off the bench.
• Aldridge also leads the team in rebounding (5.9 rpg) and blocks (10).
• In addition to leading the nation in scoring offense (87.8 ppg), Davidson is averaging 11.5 3-pointers per game, which is third in the nation.
• The Wildcats also rank among national leaders in assist/turnover ratio (1.73/3rd), assists per game (18.3/T-6th), 3-point field-goal percentage (.414/8th), scoring margin (+18.2/12th) and free-throw percentage  (.750/T-19th).
• Davidson has won 11 of its last 12 road contests dating back to last season.
• Up next, Davidson will play its first-ever A-10 contest when Richmond visits Belk Arena for a 5 p.m. televised (NBCSN) contest on Saturday.

Series History

• In Bob McKillop's first season at the helm, Davidson and Virginia met in the very first game at the Wildcats' current home, John M. Belk Arena, Dec. 1, 1989.
• Terry Holland '64, served as the head men's basketball coach and athletics director at both Davidson and Virginia.
• Holland, who played and later served as an assistant coach for Lefty Driesell, posted a 92-43 coaching record at Davidson, before taking the head-coaching job at Virginia in 1974.
