• Winners of seven straight, Davidson enters 16-7 overall and 11-1 in the SoCon following a 73-59 win over Western Carolina Thursday.
• The Wildcats have strung together seven straight for the second consecutive season and 11th time under head coach Bob McKillop.
• Davidson has led by at least seven points in 20 of its 23 contests this year, including by double figures in 17 of those games.
• The Wildcats have led or been tied at the half in 19 of their 23 contests.
• Davidson is 13-1 this season and 35-5 over the last two when scoring 70 points or more.
• The 'Cats are 103-21 (.830) in their last 124 regular-season Southern Conference games, dating back to the 2006-07 season.

• Davidson's all-time leader in free-throw percentage at 89.1 percent, is also second in the SoCon in 3-point field-goal percentage.
• Last year's SoCon Players of the Year Jake Cohen (14.0 ppg/5.8 rpg) and De'Mon Brooks (13.6 ppg/6.3 rpg) continue to lead the Wildcats in scoring and rebounding.
• Over the last 14 games, Cohen is averaging just under 16 points and six rebounds, while shooting 52.2 percent from the floor, 44.4 percent from long range and 87.7 percent at the charity stripe.
• Davidson leads the SoCon in scoring margin (+7.9), free-throw percentage (.809) and fewest turnovers (11.6), while ranking second in scoring offense (72.0), 3-point field-goal percentage (.363), 3-pointers made (172), 3-pointers per game (7.5), and assist/turnover ratio (1.1).

• During Bob McKillop's 24 years as head coach, the Wildcats have been known for long winning streaks.
• Davidson's current seven-game winning streak marks the 11th time under McKillop the Wildcats have stung together at least that many triumphs during a season.

Davidson to Host Montana in Bracketbusters
• Davidson will host Montana Feb. 23, at 3 p.m. on ESPNU in the 11th annual Bracketbusters.
• For the second straight season, the Wildcats are one of 26 teams selected to be a part of the Bracketbusters event.
• Davidson made its first appearance in the Bracketbusters in 2008 and defeated Winthrop 60-47 on the road en route to a 25-game winning streak and a spot in the NCAA Tournament Midwest Regional championship game. The Wildcats lost to nationally-ranked Butler and Wichita State in 2009 and 2012, respectively.
 
Series History
• Davidson leads the all-time series 39-32, including the last two after Appalachian State won three straight.
• The Mountaineers swept the season series in 2009-10, becoming the first SoCon team to sweep the regular-season series against Davidson since the 2000-01 campaign.
• The series began with a 52-49 Wildcat victory in the 1945-46 season.
• The 'Cats are 19-14 on the road, 9-8 at the Belk Arena and 23-15 against Appalachian State under Bob McKillop.
