• Saturday's contest at Furman begins a stretch of four conference games in seven days for Davidson.
• The Wildcats enter 8-6 overall and 3-0 in league play following an 85-53 win over UNCG.
• Davidson is 3-0 in Southern Conference play for the seventh time under head coach Bob McKillop.
• Last year's SoCon Players of the Year De'Mon Brooks (14.6 ppg/6.6 rpg) and Jake Cohen (13.6 ppg/5.7 rpg) continue to lead the Wildcats in scoring and rebounding.
• In Davidson's win over the Spartans, Brooks became the 43rd player in school history with 1,000 career points.
• Cohen, who became the school's all-time blocks leader, is averaging 17.8 points and 5.6 rebounds over his last five contests, while shooting 56.3 percent (27-48) from the floor and 96.4 percent (27-28) at the line.
• Earlier this week Cohen earned his second SoCon Player of the Week honor of the season, averaging 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game last week. In addition to going 11-for-11 at the line, Cohen made 60 percent of his attempts (12-20), including four 3-pointers.
• A career 88.7 percent shooter at the charity stripe, Nik Cochran has made 50-of-52 attempts (.962) this year and 66 of his last 69 free throws dating back to last season.
• Cochran leads the country in free-throw percentage.
• As a team, the Wildcats are shooting 80.6 percent (233-289) from the free-throw line, which also ranks first nationally.
 
Series History
• Davidson leads the all-time series, which began over 100 years ago, 96-61, and has won 13 of the last 14 against the Paladins.
• The Wildcats are 42-31 against Furman on the road, 10-2 in Timmons Arena and 32-6 under head coach Bob McKillop.
• The Wildcats have played Furman more than any other opponent in their history (157 meetings).
 
Southern Conference Success
• The 'Cats are 95-20 (.826) in their last 115 regular-season Southern Conference games, dating back to the 2006-07 season.
• The Wildcats are 46-11 (.807) in their last 57 conference games on the road.
• Davidson had a 43-game conference win streak snapped at home against College of Charleston Feb. 7, 2009. It was one win away from tying the SoCon record held by West Virginia and the eighth-longest in college basketball history.
