• The top two teams in each division get byes into the quarterfinals of the upcoming SoCon Tournament in Charlotte.
• The best seed the Wildcats can get in the tourney is third in the South, meaning Davidson will have to play a first round game in the tourney for the first time since 2001.
• The Wildcats played the first contest of each of their two-game series against SoCon South Division opponents on the road and went 3-2. The 'Cats finished the regular season 7-3 against South Division foes.
• Davidson has won six of its last eight games overall and is coming off a 61-58 home victory over Furman Saturday.

• Davidson lost its last game in The McKenzie Arena, falling 59-52 to College of Charleston in the SoCon Tourney semifinals last March.

• The series began with a 93-87 Chattanooga victory in 1978.
• The Wildcats are 5-12 against Chattanooga in The McKenzie Arena and 15-12 against the Mocs under Bob McKillop.
Stephen Curry tallied 32 points and eight assists to lead Davidson to a 92-70 SoCon victory over Chattanooga in front of a crowd of 9,234 at McKenzie Arena in the last meeting.
• Curry hit 5 3-pointers, including a 75-footer to beat the buzzer at the end of the first half.

• Curry's buzzer-beater came at an opportune moment for the Wildcats. Chattanooga had whittled an 18-point deficit down to 10 and had the ball with 25.5 seconds left and a chance for the last shot of the half.
• Doaks missed a layup with four seconds left, and Lovedale got the rebound. He handed the ball off, and Curry took one dribble, let it fly and hit nothing but net.
• The shot sparked a 13-3 run as Davidson started the second frame with a 10-2 spurt to open a 51-31 lead on an Archambault layup 4:15 into the stanza.

• Archambault and Bryant Barr each became the school's all-time leader in games played with 131.

• The 'Cats played their first overtime game in Belk Arena since 2005 against The Citadel Jan. 30, and posted a 67-63 win.
• Davidson's 61-52 victory over Hofstra Dec. 21, was the first time Wildcat coach Bob McKillop has coached against his alma mater.
• The Wildcats played their first four games away from home. It's the first time they have started a season with four road games since 2000-01.
• It's the latest Davidson has opened its home schedule since the 2002-03 campaign, when the 'Cats' first home game was Nov. 30 against Washington & Lee.
• Appalachian State's win Feb. 11 gives them a regular-season series sweep over the Wildcats. It's the first time Davidson has been swept in a regular-season series by a SoCon opponent since 2000-01. Wofford has also won both games of the season series against the Wildcats.
