• Davidson plays in the MSG Holiday Festival, the nation's longest running holiday tournament, Dec. 20-21, in Madison Square Garden. It's the Wildcats' second-straight appearance in the tournament.
• All the games will be televised on MSG with Mike Crispino and Bucky Waters calling the action.
• It's Davidson's third trip to Madison Square Garden in the last three seasons. The Wildcats played in the Jimmy V Classic in 2008, defeating West Virginia 68-65. Davidson is 2-1 in the building since 2008 with the lone loss coming to Cornell in last season's Holiday Festival.
• Prior to the 2008 game against the Mountaineers, Davidson had not played in The Garden since falling 81-77 to Syracuse in the 1972 Postseason NIT.
• The two games in New York cap a stretch in which the Wildcats played 10 of their first 13 games away from home.
• After playing four games in eight days from Nov. 27-Dec. 4, Davidson has played one game in the last 15.

• Three 'Cats are averaging double figures in the scoring column, led by Jake Cohen's 14.7 points a game. JP Kuhlman averages 13.6 points, and Brendan McKillop averages 11.2. Cohen also leads the team in rebounding, averaging 6.7, while Clint Mann averages 5.4.
• The Wildcats have 10 underclassman on the team (six freshman, four sophomores) and feature just one senior and four juniors.
• Davidson is 1-3 in true road games this season and 3-3 away from home.
• Davidson coach Bob McKillop is 12 wins shy of his 400th career victory.
• Davidson was picked to finish third in the SoCon South Division again this season, while St. John's was picked sixth in the Big East.
• Davidson has faced one Big East opponent this season and fell 84-70 to West Virginia in the Honda Puerto Rico Tip-Off. The Mountaineers were picked fifth in the Big East Preseason Poll.
• The Red Storm is coming off an 84-81 loss at Fordham last Saturday.
• Monday's game will be St. John's first in Madison Square Garden this season. The Red Storm is 2-1 at home, and all three games were played in Carnesecca Arena.
• Dwight Hardy leads St. John's in scoring with 14.9 points a game, and Justin Brownlee averages 13.6 points and 4.3 rebounds. D.J. Kennedy averages 11.5 points and 5.6 boards.

• The Red Storm leads the all-time series, which began in 1968, 10-6, and has won the last six.
• St. John's is 6-2 against Davidson at home.

• The teams met in consecutive NCAA Tournaments in 1968 and 1969, and Davidson won both meetings (87-70, 1968; 79-69, 1969).

• Davidson set season highs in points (82), field goals made (28), and three-pointers made (12) and attempted (29).

• The 'Cats are 4-0 when leading at halftime. Davidson has won 24 of their last 26 against non-conference competition at Belk Arena and is 32-5 since 2003.
• Fans were encouraged to wear black as apart of Davidson's annual “BlackOut Belk Arena.”

Southern Conference Honors
Brendan McKillop has been named the Southern Conference men's basketball Player of the Week for all games played Dec. 7-13. The senior guard is the first Davidson player to be given the honor since Stephen Curry in March of 2009.
• McKillop tied his season high with a game-high 21 points as the Wildcats defeated Charlotte 82-68 at Belk Arena last Saturday.
• He tied his career high with seven made 3-pointers in the win, going 7-of-12 from the floor with all of his shots coming from 3-point range. McKillop added two assists, a rebound and one steal.

Claw Marks
• Davidson has held its opponents to under 40 percent shooting in four games and won all four.
• Davidson began the season by playing 10 of its first 13 games on the road. The 'Cats home opener was the sixth game of the year, the latest during the 22-year tenure of head coach Bob McKillop.
• Davidson won its home opener for the 19th consecutive season.
• The Wildcats opened SoCon play with two games in Charleston for the second-straight campaign.
