Layup Line
• The Wildcats continue a four-game homestand by hosting Atlantic-10 foe UMass in Davidson's final non-conference game of the regular season.
• The four-game stretch, which began Dec. 28 against Penn, is the longest homestand of the season for the Wildcats.
• The 'Cats are coming off a stretch in which they played five of six away from home, and Davidson went 3-3.
• Davidson plays 10 of its final 17 regular-season games at home.
• Davidson is coming off a 79-50 victory over Penn Monday.
• The Wildcats have won three of their last four contests.
• UMass has won two of its last three but is coming off a 79-67 road loss to Boston College Dec. 23. The Minutemen are searching for their first road victory.
• The Minutemen and Wildcats share one common opponent - Cornell. The Big Red topped UMass 74-61 Nov. 18, and defeated Davidson 91-88 in overtime in Madison Square Garden Dec. 20.
• Anthony Gurley leads UMass in scoring with 16.9 points a game, while Ricky Harris is averaging 16.7.
• UMass has a +5.6 rebounding edge a game over its opponents and averages 15 offensive boards an outing.

Series History
• The all-time series, which began in 1982, is tied 3-3.
• The Wildcats have won two of the last three, including a 66-63 decision in Belk Arena in the last meeting.
• Ian Johnson led the Wildcats in that contest with 20 points and nine rebounds, and Matt McKillop posted 11 points and three assists.
• Brendan Winters added nine points and six rebounds.
• Maurice Maxwell led the Minutemen with 13 points, and Stephane Lasme posted 10 points and 11 rebounds.
• UMass shot 45 percent from the floor but committed 18 turnovers, and the 'Cats hit 18 of 22 free throws.
• Each of the last two contests have been decided by three points, and the game before that was a nine-point Wildcat win in overtime.

Leftovers from Penn
• The Wildcats hit 13 3-pointers; it's the fifth time this season Davidson has netted 13 or more treys.

Bryant Barr needs 55 points to reach 700 for his career.
Steve Rossiter needs 48 points and 25 rebounds to become the 30th Davidson player to tally 500 points and 500 rebounds.
• Davidson has shot 50 percent or better from the floor in three of its last five games.
• Davidson's bench has outscored its opponent in all but one game.
• With 117 career games played, Will Archambault and Bryant Barr are both 13 games away from the school record, set by Andrew Lovedale 2005-09.
• Davidson has hit 13 or more 3-pointers in five games this season (Fredonia State, The Citadel, Gonzaga, TCNJ, Penn).
• The Wildcats have not won a game when trailing at the half this season.

Archambault Nearing 1,000 Points
• Senior Will Archambault is closing in on becoming the 38th Davidson player to score 1,000 points in his career.
• He needs 122 points to reach the mark.
• Archambault also needs 139 rebounds for 500 career caroms.

Tough Slate
• According to the 2010 Pomeroy College Basketball Rankings, Davidson has played the 11th-toughest schedule in the country.
• As of Dec. 28, the non-conference opponents that have defeated the Wildcats have a combined record of 60-20, and all seven have a winning record.
