
'Cats Close Out Duke Invitational on Saturday

DURHAM, N.C. - On the final day of the Duke Invitational, the Wildcats produced four season-best times in the 800m and recorded the ninth-fastest 4x400m time in program history. Matthew Yaun was also the only freshman who finished inside the top 10 in the javelin.
Yaun threw 57.89m and finished 10th overall in the javelin. Tyler Thompson, Connor Rittenhouse, Malcolm Cook, and Sineth Andrabadu ran 3:16.71 in the 4x400m relay. This is the best time in this event so far during the outdoor season.
Liam Maurillo, Jack Fischer, Ryan Harris, and Harry Carter all had their best time of the season in the 800m. Maurillo ran 1:53.26, Fischer ran 1:53.99, Harris ran 1:55.96, and Carter posted a time of 1:56.58.
Malcolm Cook posted a solid time of 22.12 in the 200m, which is a season best mark.
