DOWN THE STRETCH
With one regular season game left, Davidson is in sixth place in the A-10 standings (9-8). Duquesne and George Washington are each 9-8 in league play. George Mason (10-7, A-10) is in fifth place and the Patriots own the head-to-head tiebreak.
The tiebreaker after head-to-head competition is the conference record of the tied teams based on winning percentage starting with the highest common opponent in the standings. The top four seeds in next week's A-10 Tournament earn a double bye. Seeds five through 10 earn a single bye.
Davidson's 18th victory marks the most wins in a season since the 2021-22 campaign (27). It's also the most wins in a season under head coach Matt McKillop.
BLOCK PARTY
During conference play, Sean Logan is tied for second in the A-10 in blocks per game (2.3). The New Jersey native has 49 blocks this season and is nine blocks away from tying the most blocks in a season by a Wildcat in program history, a record he currently owns (58 BLK in '23-'24). The senior also currently ranks third in program history with 136 career blocks in 95 games. Jamie Hall ('82) is second with 159 blocks.
BOOST FROM BROWN
Sam Brown recorded his second 20-point performance of the season earlier this week. Prior to Wednesday's contest, Brown scored only four points over the last five games. His other 20-point game was back on December 30, 2025 against Duquesne.
