
'Cats Finish Up Davidson Relays on Saturday

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Matthew Yaun's javelin PR was one of many highlights from the men's track and field team at the Davidson Relays on Saturday. Yaun finished in third place in the javelin with a throw of 59.80m. Yaun is the second-best performer in the javelin in program history only behind current teammate and 2025 A-10 Champion John Teachman.
Sineth Andrabadu's victory in the 200m was another highlight. Andrabadu posted a time of 21.55.
Corbin Weltzien also posted a strong time in the 110m hurdles and finished fourth overall. Weltzien ran 14.92, which makes him the third-best performer in this event in program history only behind Jayden Smith and Jordan Benson.
Eli Roth posted an outdoor 800m PR with a time of 1:53.33 and finished in second overall.
Daniel Cortese and Quinn Swanton finished first and second respectively in the 3000m. Cortese ran a PR, 8:36.33, and Swanton ran 8:39.33 in his second career outdoor meet in college.

Davidson heads to High Point University and is set to compete at the VertKlasse Meet on Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3.
