Steffen's 200m and Kurtz's 60m Performances Highlight Day 1 at JDL

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Jackson Steffen posted the third-fastest indoor 200m time in school history (21.89) on Friday at the Camel City Sprints on the JDL Fast Track. Steffen finished second overall in the event. He is now the second-fastest Wildcat in this event only behind Jayden Smith (21.83). Sineth Andrabadu also was inside the top five in the 200m with a time of 22.06, which was good for fifth overall. Meanwhile, AJ Kurtz tied the indoor school record in the 60m with a time of 6.91. Kurtz shares this indoor record with Josh Hardin, who recorded this time back in 2022.
