Wildcats Unveil 2025-26 Non-Conference Schedule

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson women's basketball team released its 2025-26 non-conference slate Wednesday, as announced by head coach Gayle Fulks.
The Wildcats' schedule features 13 non-conference contests, including key matchups against power conference opponents. The 'Cats will open the season at Mississippi State, face Baylor and Miami at the WCBA Showcase and host N.C. State inside Belk Arena.

"Our program is super excited and proud to be releasing another highly competitive non-conference schedule, among the best in mid-major basketball," said head coach Gayle Fulks. "In building from a program-best third-place finish in the A-10 last year, we have sought to create a schedule that could allow us to compete for an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and adequately prepare our team for the grueling Atlantic 10 Conference regular season.
"With a young team that includes 10 underclassmen, the 13-game non-conference slate should provide invaluable experience with matchups against seven opponents that played in last year's NCAA Tournament. Our team is especially excited to open at SEC opponent Mississippi State, to compete at Disney World in the WBCA Showcase, retain the 704 Cup in our cross-county battle against Charlotte, and to avenge last year's two-point loss to N.C. State in our non-conference finale in Belk Arena."
