Smith Concludes Illustrious Career First-Team All-American; Finishes 8th in National Final

EUGENE, Oregon – Davidson's Jayden Smith finished eighth in the 110m hurdles at the 2025 NCAA Track & Field Championships to earn first-team All-American honors Friday evening at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus.
Smith, who punched his ticket into the finals with a run of 13.40 in Wednesday's semifinal, finished in 13.65 tonight.
A two-time national qualifier, Smith also becomes the first in program history to earn First-Team All-American status by virtue of his top-8 finish.
A year ago, the six-time Atlantic 10 champion received second-team recognition after finishing 15th in the country. Bryce Anthony (2022) is the only other Wildcat to earn All-American status.
