DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson women's basketball team has finalized its 2025-26 roster with the addition of transfer Angeliki Ziaka, Head Coach Gayle Fulks announced on Wednesday.

"We are thrilled to finish off our 2025-26 roster with the addition of Angeliki Ziaka, a transfer from the University of San Francisco," commented Fulks. "In bringing back a large core of 11 players from last year's program-elevating team and with the addition of our three freshmen with significant pedigree, our staff tried to be intentional about our approach to the transfer portal in adding a player that was a perfect match for our system."

Coach Gayle's Scouting Report
Angeliki a 6-0 guard originally from Athens, Greece, and comes to us after receiving West Coast Conference All-Freshman Team accolades this past season. The versatility of Angeliki to Share, Shoot, Stifle really jumped off the film when she went into the transfer portal. She was one of only 15 freshmen in the country to average at least 8.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game during the 2024-25 season. With the physicality and length to be terrific in our switching defensive scheme, she also made over 30 3-pointers in her first season of college basketball in the respected WCC.

In addition to her freshman year at San Francisco, Angeliki has extensive basketball background in her native Greece. She has been a member of the youth national programs since 2019 and had been playing on professional teams (including Greek Champions Panathinaikos A.C) since 2020.
