EUGENE, Ore. – Davidson's Jayden Smith advanced to the finals of the 2025 NCAA Track & Field Championships in the 110m hurdles Wednesday evening at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus.

In lane seven of the second semifinal, Smith ran a 13.40, the eighth fastest time out of 24 competitors, to grab the final spot in Friday's National Championship, which will be held at 5:42 p.m. (PDT) / 8:42 p.m. (EDT).

A two-time national qualifier, Smith also becomes the first in program history to earn First-Team All-American honors by virtue of his top-8 finish.

A year ago, the six-time Atlantic 10 champion received second-team recognition after finishing 15th in the country. Bryce Anthony (2022) is the only other Wildcat to earn All-American status.
