Jouras, Putnam Named to All-Championship Team

TYSONS, Va. — Davidson's Eli Putnam and Noah Jouras have been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Championship Team, the league announced Saturday, following the tournament's conclusion.
Jouras and Putnam helped the fourth-seeded Wildcats go 2-2 in the event and reach Friday's semifinal round.
Jouras, the Wildcats' catcher, hit a team-best .444 (8-for-18) in the four-game stretch, with two doubles, two RBIs and 10 total bases. He posted an OPS of 1.000 and finished the season with an active 13-game hitting streak and a 32-game reached-base streak.
Putnam, who played second base, hit .412 (7-for-17) with six runs, two doubles, one home run, four RBIs and 12 total bases. He posted an OPS of 1.180, including a .706 slugging percentage. Putnam finished the year with a team-leading 19 homers and set a single-season school record with 72 runs scored.
Regular season champion Rhode Island topped No. 2 George Mason 4-1 to win the tournament Saturday afternoon.
