The Davidson baseball team has earned the No. 4 seed in the 2025 Atlantic 10 Tournament, the league announced Saturday evening.
Â
The Wildcats secured one of seven berths into the 12-team league's double-elimination event and will meet No. 5 Saint Joseph's at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Capital One Park in Tysons, Va.Â
Â
The Wildcats (25-27 overall) finished the regular season 18-12 in A-10 play, tying Saint Louis for third. The Billikens, with a 2-1 series victory at Davidson in April, held the tiebreaker and got the No. 3 seed.
Â
Davidson will be making its eighth A-10 Tournament appearance and is seeking its second championship (2017).
Â
The Wildcats are 7-8 this year against the A-10 Tournament field, including 1-2 against Saint Joseph's in April. Top-seeded Rhode Island is the one league team Davidson did not play in the 10-series regular season format.Â
