‘Cats Fall to Second on Day Two of A-10 Championships

ORLANDO, Fla. – Despite leading a majority of the day, Davidson fell to second, five strokes off the lead, after 36 holes of the 2025 Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championship at Evermore Resort.
 
The Wildcats, who got to 10-under late in their second round, played the final three holes in eight-over as a team to conclude the day at 286 and five-under overall (285-286 = 571).
 
Richmond fired an 11-under 277 to climb into the lead at 10-under (289-277 = 566).
 
Nate Faulkner (-3) continues to lead the way for Davidson, as the freshman is tied for fifth following an even-par 72. Sophomore Davis Sayman is one back of his teammate in a tie for eighth, while seniors and 2024 all-conference performers Joshua Stewart (-1) and Will Davis (+1) are tied for 10th and 15th, respectively.
 
Dayton (-3) is two back of Davidson and seven off the pace in third, while Rhode Island (+3) and VCU (+6) round out the top five.
 
The Flyers' Ben Cors (-7) and Luke Kahle (-5) sit 1-2 on the individual leaderboard.
 
The Wildcats are looking to win their fifth conference crown in the last seven tries.
 
Thursday's final round will begin at 7:30 a.m. off the first and 10th tees. Davidson will be paired with the Spiders and Flyers beginning at 8:15 a.m. off the opening hole.
