‘Cats End 2026 Campaign with Season-Low in Final Round of A-10 Tourney

ORLANDO, Fla. – Highlighted by three sub-par rounds, Davidson capped its 2026 men's golf campaign with a season-low score of 11-under 277 in the final round of the Atlantic 10 Championships.
The three-day / 54-hole event was played at Evermore Resort Golf Club.
Sophomore Nate Faulkner led the Wildcats Wednesday with a bogey-free round of five-under 67 to come home tied for 14th at even-par 216 (73-76-67).
After opening with a double-bogey, Davis Sayman (+8 | T-33) responded with a team-best seven birdies including five on his outward nine to sign for a four-under 68.
Freshman Alexander Paschall (72-74-70 = 215 | -1), who led Davidson each of the first two days, was steady again in the final round with a two-under 70 to finish tied for ninth out of 54 competitors.
Senior Price Miller capped his collegiate career with an even-par round of 72 for the Wildcats (+14 | 7th), who fired the second lowest team score of the tournament to better their second-day total by 23 shots.
Richmond (-14), which carded a tournament-low 15-under 273, rallied past George Mason to win its second A-10 title and first since 2017.
In addition, the Spiders' Lucas Rizo-Patron took home the individual title at 13-under.
The Wildcats entered the postseason as the defending champion and winners of five of the last seven A-10 Championships.
