DePaul Tops Davidson 6-1

DAVIDSON - The Davidson men's tennis team fell 6-1 at home to out of conference opponent DePaul Saturday.Â
The loss moves the Wildcats record to an even 6-6 while remaining 1-0 in Atlantic 10 competition.Â
The Blue Demons took the doubles point winning on courts two and three leaving Nico Pinzon and Gregorio Hidalgo unfinished trailing just 4-3 at the No. 1 spot.Â
DePaul continued its winning ways through singles actions securing wins on all courts except for No. 4 where former A-10 Rookie of the Week Hidalgo claimed the lone point for Davidson via 6-4, 6-4 win. Juan Camilo Perez Gongora put up a notable fight on court one, taking the opening set 6-4 before falling 6-4, 6-3 in the final two.Â
