Women Wrap Up Liberty Open

LYNCHBURG, V.A. – The Davidson women's indoor track and field team wrapped up competition at the Liberty Open Saturday inside the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
Freshman Bella Cantorna led the way for the Wildcats placing third in the pole vault, clearing 12'-¼''.
Davidson's Martina Caprioglio and Hannah Casey tied for fourth in the high jump – lower, each with a height of 1.45m (4'-9'').
The Wildcats' 4x400 relay team of Chris-Ann Nelson, Aleia Gisolfi-McCready, Jocelyn Millican and Rebecca Polgar placed fifth in 3:54.09.
On Friday, Aleia Gisolfi-McCready advanced to the finals of the 60 hurdles, where she secured a 6th-place finish today.
A personal best 5:09.78 landed Elise Boyse a Top-10 finish in the mile. Molly Sullivan followed closely in 12th place with a 5:10.92.
Finally, out of 102 competitors, Isabella Godoy came home 24th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:21.96

Next weekend, some of the 'Cats will return to Virginia for the Indoor Pre-Nationals, while others will head to Boston, Mass., for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
