WASHINGTON — Following team wins over Gardner-Webb Saturday, Davidson swimmers Dylan Felt, Ann Thompson and Robby Votta have secured Atlantic 10 Conference weekly honors, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.
Felt and Thompson swept the A-10 Performer of the Week awards, while Votta was named Men's Rookie of the Week.
The honor is the third for Felt this season (also Oct. 2 and Jan. 21), the first for Thompson this year and the first of Votta's career.
A junior from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Felt won the 200 free (1:35.03) and 500 free (4:27.30) against Gardner-Webb. His 200 time is the fastest in the A-10 this year, while his 500 time ranks fourth. He also swam on the 200 free relay (1:23.46), which earned a win Saturday.
A sophomore from Mount Pleasant, S.C., Thompson swam to wins in the 100 back (56.10) and 200 back (2:03.44) and also on the victorious 200 medley relay (1:44.85).
