Wildcats Wrap Up at Norfolk State's Indoor Pre-Nationals

NORFOLK, Va. – Seven Wildcats wrapped up competition at Norfolk State's Indoor Pre-Nationals meet on Saturday afternoon.
Out of the three individuals competing, two 'Cats set new personal-bests. Daniel Cortese set a new PR in the 3,000-meters after he crossed the finish line in 8:34.94, beating his previous-best mark by ten seconds.
Freshman Peter Darst cleared the bar at 1.90 meters in the high jump, surpassing his earlier mark of 1.87 meters.

The men's track and field team will be back in action next Saturday (Feb. 22) at the USC Invite hosted by South Carolina.
