PR's Fall as Men's Track & Field Competes in Boston and Norfolk

BOSTON, Mass. | Norfolk, Va. – The Davidson College men's track team had a group compete at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston and another group at the Indoor Pre-Nationals hosted by Norfolk State.
Three 'Cats ran at the David Hemery Invite: Eli Roth (mile), and Grahm Breiter and John Cooper in the 3,000-meters. Eli Roth turned in a 4:15.61 in the mile, just three hundredths of a second off his personal-best.
Grahm Breiter shattered a personal-best in the 3K when he crossed the line in 8:19.16. This time was over 20 seconds faster then his previous best of 8:40.44. Sophomore John Cooper also hit a PR in the 3K when he completed his race in 8:22.43.
Ten other Wildcats were in action in Norfolk, Va. at the Indoor Pre-Nationals. Jack Fischer, Zak Abdulahi, Tyler Thompson, and Owen Sanderson all hit PR's at the event.

The Wildcats will continue action at the Pre-Nationals with four individuals and a relay team set to compete.
