Wildcats Fall at No. 17 Kansas to Conclude Non-Conference Play

LAWRENCE, Kansas – Playing inside historic Phog Allen Fieldhouse for the first time in program history, Davidson suffered a 90-61 setback at No. 17 Kansas Monday evening.
The Wildcats conclude non-conference play 8-4 overall.
The Jayhawks, who shot 58 percent, including 11 3-pointers, started 6-of-8 from the floor while racing out to a double-digit lead, where it would stay.
In addition to placing six players in double figures, Kansas (10-3) finished with 48 points in the paint and scored 27 points off turnovers.
The 'Cats would turn 15 Jayhawk miscues into 21 points, while getting 35 points from their bench.
Davidson, which enjoyed a 10-0 run midway through the second half, was led by Roberts Blums, who had 13 points.
Flory Bidunga and Tre White led the way for Kansas with 18 points each.

Davidson will take an eight-day break for the Holiday before opening Atlantic 10 Conference play Tuesday, December 30 when Duquesne comes to town for a 7 p.m. tip.
