Personal Bests Highlight Wildcats' 7th Place Finish at UVA

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Highlighted by seven new personal records, Davidson finished seventh at the Panorama Farms Invitational hosted by the University of Virginia Saturday morning.
Senior Anne Berquist led the Wildcats on the 6K course with a career-best time of 21:34.4 to finish 27th out of 134 runners.
Classmate Abigail Nasse finished just behind her teammate with a time of 21:52.9 to place 35th.
Davidson also got new personal bests from Molly Sullivan (21:59.8), Abby Smith (22:26.1), Mary Shoop (22:29.3), Tate Arrington (23:43.4) and Elise Boyse (23:54.2).
Clara Schad, who also competed for the Wildcats, just missed a new season-low mark with a time of 22:52.3.
The host Cavaliers, placed six runners inside the Top-10 to claim the team title by 53 points over rival Virginia Tech.

Davidson will take two weeks off from competition before heading to Mechanicsville, Va., for the 2024 Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Championships Nov. 2.
