Wildcats Drop Game One to Revolutionaries

WASHINGTON D.C. -- The Davidson volleyball team fell 3-0 to George Washington in its first match of the double-header weekend on Saturday afternoon.
Isabel Decker led the Wildcats with 11 kills and 10 digs, marking her 12th double-double of the season, while Anna Withee swung an impressive .300 on the day with nine kills on 20 swings.Â
The 'Cats jumped out strong in set one, swinging .343 at the net, but the Revs maintained a .396 attacking percentage across all three sets to take the 3-0 sweep.Â
Davidson pushed the first set to the brink, forcing a 28-26 frame, thanks to aces from Decker and libero Jordan Hummel. However, George Washington limited the Wildcats to a .175 attacking percentage over the remainder of the match, and blocked six Davidson attacks, to pull out the victory.
