Wildcats Fall at No. 10 Iowa State

AMES, Iowa – The Davidson College wrestling team fell to the No. 10 Iowa State Cyclones in dual action on Sunday night.
Davidson squared off with one of the toughest lineups in the country as the Cylcones rolled out seven nationally-ranked wrestlers. ISU cruised to a 50-0 win after securing six wins by tech fall and two wins by pin.
In the 165-pound match, head coach Nate Carr Jr. was in the Wildcat corner to coach against his brother, second-ranked David Carr. The Iowa State All-American defeated Marc Koch by tech fall, 17-2.
Tanner Peake and Wyatt Ferguson went the distance at 157 and 184 but fell by major decision.

The Wildcats will shift gears and prepare for the Navy Classic this coming Saturday (Nov. 18).
