Wrestling Heads to Southern Conference Tournament

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson Wrestling will hit the road for the Southern Conference Tournament Friday. The tournament will take place at Appalachian State in Boone, N.C. on Saturday. Wrestling begins at 10 am. The official tournament information can be found HERE.Â
Heading into Saturday's tournament, three Wildcats in Kyle Gorant (133), Gavin Damasco (149) and Mitchell Trigg (HWT) are seeded in the fourth position and four sit at No. 5 in the brackets, Nick Cambria (141), Bryce Sanderlin (157), Gavin Henry (184) and Finlay Holston (197).Â
"We are so excited to compete this weekend," head coach Andy Lausier said. "We have great opportunities at every weight class, and I expect to see us wrestle with a lot of intensity, excitement, and enthusiasm."Â
