'Cats Edged Out by Terriers, 5-2

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- The Davidson Wildcats fell 5-2 to the Wofford Terriers on Sunday despite earning production from Alejandro Solares and Nico Pinzon.
The 'Cats dropped the doubles point to the Terriers, but not before Solares and Udday Singh earned a 6-3 win from court one.
Solares carried his doubles success onto the singles courts, picking up a two-set 6-3, 6-2 decision from court one and won his fifth solo match of the season. From court six, rookie Pinzon fought to a three-set win. After winning the first set 7-5, Pinzon fell 3-6 in the second but bounced back with a 6-2 clinching win in the third.

Davidson will return to play on Wednesday, March 30 to take on Elon at 3 p.m. on the road.
