Singh Earns Solo Win, 'Cats Fall 6-1 to JMU

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Davidson freshman Udday Singh earned the men's tennis team its only point of the day during a midweek non-conference match up with James Madison on Tuesday.
The rookie, out of Chandigarh, India, earned his sixth singles win of the season against the Dukes, downing JMU's William Karpinski in a two-set, 6-4, 6-4 victory.
While Singh had strong solo play from court three, the Wildcats lost the doubles point and their remaining singles matches in the 6-1 loss.
Davidson will be back in action on Sunday afternoon, set to take on Wofford in Spartanburg at 2 p.m.
