Wrestling Falls In Dual Meet at Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Gavin Henry, Jake Fernicola and Noah Frack earned wins in Davidson's dual meet at Lock Haven on Thursday night, but the Wildcats fell 31-13 in non-conference action.
Thursday's meeting with the Bald Eagles marked head coach Nate Carr Jr.'s return to Lock Haven where he coached the past six seasons.
The Cats were able to secure three victories on the mat against the defending Mid-American Conference champions. Henry pinned Lock Haven's Brad Morrison in two minutes and 28 seconds in the 197-pound weight class. Fernicola grinded out a 3-2 decision over LHU's Ethan Miller in the heavyweight bout to give the 'Cats three more points. In the 149-pound matchup, Frack defeated Connor Eck via major decision to end the night.
Up next, Davidson will head to the Patriot Open hosted by George Mason this coming Sunday.
