SUTPHIN'S SURGING... Redshirt-junior Elle Sutphin has powered the Davidson offense this week, averaging 18.6 points per game over her last three games, while still averaging 15.0 points per game on the season. During a 63-55 loss to UIC, the Pilot Mountain native scored the first double-double of her career with 24 points and a career-high 10 rebounds.
WHILE YOU WERE OUT... In Savannah, the 'Cats went 1-2 over the three-day tournament, picking up a 62-41 victory over Austin Peay on day one before falling to UIC and Fairleigh Dickinson on days two and three.
FINDING HER WAY... Redshirt-sophomore Maddie Plank is finding her footing through six games with the Wildcats, as the Princeton transfer started the last three games for Davidson, while scoring a career-high 17 points against UIC on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
OPPORTUNITIES ARISE... Three different 'Cats have made their first career starts for Davidson in the last week, as redshirt-sophomore Sallie Schutz started against No. 19 Maryland on 11/16, Maddie Plank earned her first start against Austin Peay and Tomisin Adenupe made her way into the starting five against Fairleigh Dickinson.
